This is a nice example of a handmade New Mexican chair. I believe it to be around 1940. It is all hand made and hand carved with pegs and mortise joints. It has a nice rosette to top. There is a tan wash paint on it. These come from a university in New Mexico, and we’re possibly made in-house at the time. This is one of seven available. Others need leather seats redone. All show wear throughout.
