Early 20th Century Indian Lahore Carpet ( 13’6″ x 18’2″ – 412 x 554 )
This “Lahore” Indian antique carpet is well woven and its light camel field displays a repeating forested scene including cypresses and chenars (plane trees). The beige and tan border shows a giant reciprocal of notched, arabesque triangles including palmettes. Good condition.
