Late 20th Century Painting by Artist Cavan Gonzales, Signed and Framed

Did you happen to see the 2020 Super Bowl? Well if you did, you may recall that throughout the Super Bowl game, they featured several Southwest pottery made by a mystery artist. Well, that artist was none other than Cavan Gonzales who happens to be
“born into this long lineage of accomplished, traditional pueblo potters in 1970, Cavan Gonzales has added his unique 21st-century interpretation. His mother, Barbara Gonzales, was the eldest great-grandchild of Maria and Julian Martinez. Working alongside Maria and her grandmother, Santana.” As you will find, this painting was created by Cavan when he was in the 10th grade in High School and only 15 years old.

“Cavan has been winning awards since the age of five. His work is collected all over the world, including works in the Kennedy Center in Washington DC and the New Mexico State Capital.”
